Aurora Aksnes was born June 15, 1996 in Stavanger Norway. The name she is most commonly used for her professional work is Aurora and occasionally stylized using uppercase letters as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 it received a raving review from the music blogosphere as well as from the media. She has recorded several high-profile covers, such as Half the World Away (by Oasis) for the Christmas advert.
